An Interesting Link for an Interesting Time

This is a little outside the "norm" for me, but while I was watching Hulu with my boyfriend last night, he mentioned that a lot of artists were selling things on eBay to raise money for the relief efforts in Japan.

That being said, I was interested to learn more and found this link to the eBay Ink:

Seems like there are a lot of neat things out there for auction, so I thought I would share it.  Things from signed guitars, meet and greets, actual costumes from performances (the Madame Butterfly kimono sounded awesome to me), etc.

Update: I finally had more time to really look through all the auctions, and just wow!  The Angela Gheorghiu Madam Butterfly Kimono & Signed Photo is so awesome, Daftpunk's 1987 Ferrari, Jane's Addiction and Beastie Boys memorabilia, Gorillaz lithographs, and so much more.  Everything is quite pricey, but at least it is going towards a good cause.

Playing with Photoshop while Waiting to Move

So, even though all the paintings and canvas and supplies are all packed up and waiting for the new house, I still have my computers out for a little bit of internet and Photoshop fun.  Work has been nuts, designing and maintaining two websites besides the normal workflow, so I took a little pause to do something fun for myself.  Even if not stellar (no formal digital design training), I was having fun.  That's all that counts to me anyway!  Here are the two little bits of fun (and the overlays)!!!

Hopefully, I will be back up and painting by the end of April or beginning of May.  It all is contingent on my actual move date!  Until then, have a great day!
